FRUITZ, are a four piece rock n roll and indie band from Dublin, Ireland.
Dublin lads with inspiration from Oasis, U2, Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, The Stone Roses, The Smith’s, Slaves, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Blossoms.
The band consists of:
•James Keegan- (Vocals, Guitar).
•Adam Whelehan- (Bass, Backing Vocals).
•Jamie Bond -(Guitar, Backing Vocals).
•Tom McGovern- (Drums).
Debut EP, “5ive A Day”, which consists of songs: “Midnight Romancer”, “Come with Me”, “Alicia”, “Damage” & “That Girl”. The EP was recorded in Displace Studios, North Dublin and released August 11th, 2017. The EP done fantastically, receiving critical acclaim and thousands of streams in a matter of hours world-wide. The EP has received great reviews from many reporters such as REMY, who described it as “Good aul rock n roll, and Dublin promoters labeling the energetic guitar band as “a wall of sound”.
The Dublin Group made there radio debut in September, 2017 at Dublin Radio Station, Near FM on the ‘All For Nothing Show’ with Liam Pepper. After the EP being played on air the band played two songs on air which don’t feature on the EP, “Keep On Keeping On” and “The Maker” in the acoustic setting, which had fans of the band calling for more releases. The band have come a long way since playing there Debut Show at Dublin’s “The Grand Social” supporting Irish band Cronin. The band is now known for there pulsating live performances around Dublin’s top venues and have pulled in an exciting, young fan base which contribute to there amazingly energetic shows which have taken places in Dublin music venues such as The Grand Social, Whelans, Stage 19, The Tivoli, The Underground, The Workman’s Club, The International Bar and the groups shows are becoming the talk of the town.The band have also sold out Liverpool’s “The Zanzibar Club” in early 2018, starting their journey on a world take over!
While the finishing touches are being put in place to new releases, shows for the coming months are now being planned and booked so keep an eye out for this lot!
